Safeguarding Training

Safeguarding training is an important part of the Church’s commitment to making Churches safe through the promotion of good preventative safeguarding practice. It helps building a safe community for all by sharpening our senses for recognising safeguarding concers and providing us with the skills to react appropriatly.

All those who are part of the ACF team are required to take part in the safeguarding program by the Church of England.


If you are serving at the ACF…

  1. Complete the Confidential Declaration Form (download here) and return it to our Safeguarding Officer Martyn Rittman (safeguarding@anglican-church-freiburg.de).
  2. Consult the table below to find out which trainings you are required to do.
  3. Set up an account with the Church of England’s training portal.
  4. Complete the required courses and forward the certificates to the Safeguarding Officer.
