The women’s prayer group currently meets via zoom. Contact us if you would like join.

Men’s Prayer Group

This group is made up of men that have a heart for praying together – be it thanksgiving for God’s gifts, or interceding for the needs of the world, for people in their own lives, and for each other. Meetings take place every first Tuesday of the month at 6pm.

The Men’s prayer group would love to pray for you too! Please get in touch to receive their contact details to send them your prayer requests.

This group currently meets here on zoom.

Wise Ones

A gathering of those church members who are  “no longer working”.  It meets roughly every month to share lively discussion over coffee or tea.  Often there is a topic or sometimes a speaker.  All are welcome and new ideas gratefully received.

Check the calendar to the right (or at the bottom of this page) for meeting dates, or contact us.

Men’s Breakfast

This group meets on the first Saturday of each month at church at 08:00. The purpose of the group is for men to get together, to enjoy a good breakfast, to talk and pray. We normally aim to finish by 09:30.

Women’s Fellowship

At the Women’s Breakfast ladies of all ages enjoy a lovely meal, each others company and the wisdom inspiring speakers.

Check the calendar to the right (or at the bottom of this page) for meeting dates, or contact us.

The Inkling Reading Group

This group meets weekly to read through and discuss some of the theological and literary writings of the Inklings. We will begin this year with C.S. Lewis’s The Problem of Pain followed by Mere Christianity. Anyone interested in reading through these works with us and joining for weekly discussion is heartily welcome.

The group will be meeting at a private home. To receive the address and get more information please send an email to inklings.freiburg@gmail.com.

Singing Group

We have a small singing group, open to anyone who enjoys singing, which helps to introduce new songs to our worship. Their performances also enrich special services, like the annual Nine lessons and Carols or on Easter day.

The singing group rehearses some Sundays after church.

Contact us if you are interested in joining.

Home Communion

Our Chaplain Rev’ Vinod Victor is more than happy to have home visits with those interested, especially the elderly or sick, and will also celebrate home eucharist with those who wish to do so.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like a pastoral visit!

ACF Calendar

Each year, young and old artists from our congregation get together to create a beautiful art calendar as a fundraising and community building effort.

To get an impression of the ACF’s calendar, read here.

ACF Weekend Away

Each year we hold an annual church retreat over one weekend. This is usually one of the highlights of our community life together.

Usually the weekend away takes place over the Ascension Day weekend (Himmelfahrtswochenende).
