CAECG Meeting & Confirmation Service – 9th – 12th March 2023
In March 2023 it was Freiburg’s turn to host the meeting of the Council of Anglican and Episcopalian Churches in Germany. Bishop David Hamid and Archdeacon Leslie Nathaniels, as well as 30 clergy and delegates from all over Germany came to attend the event.
A big THANK YOU to all ACF members who helped making the weekend such a success. Our guest who came to the CAECG meeting felt very well looked after and praised the lovely atmosphere and nice food. The Confirmation Service on Sunday was a wonderful occasion to worship together with the Bishop & Archdeacon, as well as friends of the family of the confirmands, and our sisters and brothers of the Old Catholic congregation, including their new minister Markus Laibach. After the service we a great time enjoying a buffet lunch, some Sekt and chatting to new and old friends.
What a weekend!
